Can congress maybe not do this with an entity that the DoD just put the military on high alert for spying on them?

The two are related.

The DoD leaked that report because they know how catastrophically corrupt, treasonous, and dangerous the proposed legislation is.

Just like how they were leaking that they could not win a war with Iran in the days leading up to it.

If I were betting on a prediction market, I would put my money on this going the same way.

Or they're just trying to foment anger and frustration amongst the population. I know Trump purged a lot of people from the DoD who weren't loyal to him so I can't see many would-be leakers being left.

Well, not American congress. But 2026 America is about as anti-American as any of the modern western parts of the world could fathom.

So American congress is long gone. For at least 25 years now.

I think I understood what you were trying to say, but, boy, was that not very coherent.

Why use many word when few word do?

[–] AnUnusualRelic@lemmy.world 1 points 1 week ago

But then they wouldn't have to spy any more, it's a great solution to that problem, see?

At this point America is being taken over completely.

And no one does anything about it.

The United States of Israel.

In politics, "permanently" is meaningless. But it's still a bad idea, regardless.

USA is partner in war crimes. Now they want to be official. I just hope that they will pay the price one day. Nazis did, why not Isrealis and USA?
