MODERATORS

Hello, I have created a new data visualization site for the fediverse. It includes:

  • A 3d feature graph for fediverse platforms
  • Aggregated and fully searchable user stats graph/table
  • Fediverse Enhancement Proposal tracker to improve visibility and tracking of fediverse feature development
  • Links to various fediverse resources.

I hope this is a useful tool for discovering new platforms/instances, and checking the overall trends for different platforms.

Please feel free to provide any feedback you may have!

hubzilla does marketplace too, it has a cart plugin that lets a user host their own shop. should be updated

Do you have a source for that? I searched hubzillas documentation and could not find anything about it.

https://hubzilla.org/page/info/doc_en

EDIT: Nevermind, I found it.

https://codeberg.org/abanink/hubzilla-addons/src/branch/master/cart

I suppose we can make the exception if it has plugins that can be used.

also this repo is quite old, the original source is at framagit https://framagit.org/hubzilla/

yes, i think it should be since due to hubzilla's federated login this becomes a federated marketplace where a person from a different hub can buy/sell from/to people from other hubs seamlessly.

Very nice!

Yuu might want to move Pixelfed down into the Photos clump.

[–] korendian64@lemmy.world 1 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Thanks! Pixelfed does video as well as images, so it's between the two. I know it seems confusing in 3 axis mode to see pixelfed near piefed, but 6 axis mode spaces them out once the forums are factored in.

Pixelfed is primarily photos and loops is videos only, like PeerTube.

It has video optimization available in the configurations: PF_OPTIMIZE_VIDEOS | true | Enable video optimization | Boolean

We have decided to have a somewhat liberal interpretation of features. For example, hubzilla has marketplace through plugins. So we need to be consistent and allow all implementations of features to count, even if it's not the primary focus of the app overall.

Neat!

Looks like gotosocial isnt on there.

Looks like the sort function here: https://fedigraph.fyi/platforms/ doesn't work. You cant sort by DESC or ASC. If a user clicks the button all platforms just stay the same.

When you click into a platform, the search on that page also doesn't work. It only allows one char and then starts searching immediately.

Is this the project: https://github.com/FedGraph/fedgraph/commits/main/ ?

Right you are! I had some filters set up to get rid of sketchy/junk platforms (i.e. platforms without active user stats, platforms with only one server or other inconsistencies), and it must have accidently been filtered out. I will look into it, thanks!

Its all good. Looks like a fun project! GLHF

Much appreciated on the bug reports. I am not seeing the sort issue, it seems to work for me for every column.

sort working example

Was that the function you were talking about, or was it something else?

Good catch with the search, will get that fixed up asap.

That repo you linked is not mine, here is the right one:
