Celebrated musicians including Massive Attack, Kneecap, Brian Eno, Sigur Rós, Nadine Shah, and many more have signed an open letter calling for a boycott of the upcoming Eurovision Song Contest in protest of Israel’s participation.

Campaign groups No Music For Genocide and the Palestinian Campaign for the Academic & Cultural Boycott of Israel are calling for a boycott of this year’s highly divisive Eurovision Song Contest.

More than 1,000 artists, including Massive Attack, Kneecap, Brian Eno, Sigur Rós, Nadine Shah, Mogwai and Hot Chip, have signed an open letter calling for a boycott of Eurovision 2026 in protest of Israel’s participation.

The letter calls upon the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) to ban KAN – the Israeli Public Broadcasting Corporation – from the upcoming contest.

“For the third consecutive year,” the letter states, Israel will be “celebrated onstage despite its ongoing genocide in Gaza, while Russia remains banned for its illegal invasion of Ukraine.”

“We refuse to be silent when Israel’s genocidal violence soundtracks and silences Palestinian lives,” the letter reads. “When children in Israeli prisons endure beatings for humming a tune. When all that’s left of nearly every stage, studio, bookshop and university in Gaza is piles of rubble, under which slaughtered bodies still await recovery and proper burial.”

In a statement, a spokesperson for No Music For Genocide said: “People of conscience around the globe are fighting complicity in every industry for a free Palestine and a freer world. While many of us in the industry make light of Eurovision or doubt our own power as cultural producers, genocidal Israel’s leaders speak openly about the contest’s geopolitical value.”

AWS denies ever having disclosed customer content stored outside the U.S. to the U.S. government in response to requests related to the CLOUD Act—at least for the past six years, “since we began tracking this data in 2020.”

That is no guarantee that it won’t happen eventually. Especially since Jeff Bezos, founder of Amazon and now executive chairman of the board, is now considered a “fanboy” of President Donald Trump.

Translated with DeepL.com (free version)

Why Use This Circle To Search App?

The Problem with Google's CTS Version

  • Forced Cloud Syncing: Uploads your selection to servers even when you just want to copy text.

  • Get's accidentally triggerd frequently, exposing sensitive data instantly to google

  • Ecosystem Lock-in: Restricted to Google Search—no support for Bing, Yandex, or AI models.

  • Locked to Google ecosystem—no choice of search engine

  • Missing Features: Useful features like "Share" and "Save" have been stripped out.

  • Hardware Exclusivity: Only available on expensive flagship devices (Pixel 8, Galaxy S24+).

What We Do Differently

  • Only what you circle gets processed—nothing else

  • True Offline OCR: Text recognition works 100% locally on your device—no internet needed.

  • QR detection offline, Smart Scan offline—no unnecessary servers

  • Universal Compatibility: Works with any search engine (Google, Bing, Yandex, TinEye,).

  • Restored Utility: We brought back the "Share" and "Save" features Google removed.

  • Works on any Android device, not just expensive flagships

  • Works on De-Googled Devices no google programs needed.

  • And has many other useful features

100% Independent: Works on any Android phone (Android 10+), without requiring Google Play Services or OEM-specific software.

Privacy-First: No background tracking or logs—just pure on-device selection.

Not so long ago, I came across the PSDevWiki when I was after a little information on the PSP

After spending way too much time diving deep on there, I realized I haven't seen this resource brought up much along my gaming travels, and thought that should change! I reached out to to 'Derf' who along with one other member, maintains the information and resource, and asked if he might be open to me interviewing him about how this kind of site operates, the information it preserves, and how important it is to keep this kind of information accessible to the public.

If you're at all interested in the history of Sony's console software, or about hearing what is behind the site, then by all means check my interview with Derf out. I was not expecting it to be as interesting as it was (which sounds click-baity, but considering we have zero ads, that doesn't really hold true!)

I hope you enjoy this one, for something a bit different. Link as always is here!

The letter, signed by over 1,000 artists, calls for Israel to be banned from next month's contest in Vienna

The No Music for Genocide campaign have released a new open letter signed by over 1,000 artists calling for Israel to be banned from Eurovision.

Massive Attack, IDLES, Kneecap, Brian Eno and Sigur Rós are among the huge list of names that have signed the letter, which comes after Eurovision organisers decided in December not to hold a vote about whether or not to disqualify Israel from the 2026 contest, which takes place next month in Vienna.

“A large majority of Members agreed that there was no need for a further vote on participation and that the Eurovision Song Contest 2026 should proceed as planned, with the additional safeguards in place,” the European Broadcasting Union, a group of broadcasters that air the contest in 56 countries, said in a statement.

In their own statement about the open letter, the organisers of No Music for Genocide said: “Every year, for its entire 53-year tenure as a Eurovision participant, Israel has perpetuated its terrorising systems of apartheid, torture, land theft, and military occupation against Palestinians from the river to the sea with complete impunity. While many of us in the industry make light of Eurovision or doubt our own power as cultural producers, genocidal Israel’s leaders speak openly about the contest’s geopolitical value.

“NMFG stands with and amplifies the incredible grassroots organising efforts across Europe to boycott Eurovision until Israel is banned. From PACBI to direct actionists, from Film Workers For Palestine in Hollywood to striking dockworkers in Italy and Morocco, people of conscience around the globe are fighting complicity in every industry for a free Palestine and a freer world.”

The NMFG campaign had previously signed up artists including Clairo, Lucy Dacus and more to remove their music from streaming services in Israel. Massive Attack also launched an alliance for musicians who are facing “intimidations from within” the music industry over their support of Palestine and Gaza. The band’s Robert del Naja was arrested at a Palestine Action protest in London this month.

You can sign the open letter here and read it in full below.

Had a relative say he was going to take it as a treatment for his ADHD and he'd read some articles. This relative is all over the place with legit ideas mixed with ones I don't think have the scientific backing. I thought about looking it up like I usually would and just felt tired (there are so many fake sites and articles about medical stuff to sift through...). But someone here maybe already researched it or has actual background on the subject? For all I know, this is a completely well known and mundane treatment for it.
