❗️A ship smuggling Ukrainian grain from occupied Crimea has been seized in the Black Sea

Ukraine’s State Border Guard and Security Service conducted the operation as part of efforts to combat Russia’s economic crimes.

Investigators found that the vessel had transported around 5,000 tons of Ukrainian wheat from Sevastopol in late 2024, using a foreign flag to mask its origin—part of Russia’s so-called “shadow fleet.”

Navigation equipment, documents, and other evidence were seized onboard. The ship is now under arrest, and the crew is in custody for legal proceedings. The investigation is ongoing.

Rescue operations have just concluded at the site of one of Russia’s April 24th missile strikes on Ukraine.

That day, 12 people were tragically killed in Kyiv, and nearly 90 others were injured.

Over 30 people remain hospitalized, many with severe injuries and amputations.

Investigations are ongoing, but it’s already clear the strike involved a ballistic missile from North Korea.

The lack of sufficient pressure on Russia enables it to import such missiles and other weapons—and use them here, in Europe. The lack of pressure on North Korea and its allies allows for the continued production of these ballistic weapons. The missile that killed civilians in Kyiv contained at least 116 components sourced from abroad, most of which, regrettably, were manufactured by American companies.

In today’s world, any war can quickly involve multiple actors, and any country facing aggression defends itself not from one opponent—but from a network of enablers. That’s why defense must also be based on collective effort.

Ukraine is grateful to all who help protect our people, who provide air defense systems and missiles. We thank those who maintain pressure on Russia and its allies for this war. We insist: Russia must immediately and unconditionally agree to a full ceasefire.

Ukraine agreed 45 days ago to President Trump’s proposal for a pause in hostilities—on land, in the air, and at sea. We also proposed extending this truce, especially during Easter, and directly called on Russia to at least stop attacking civilian targets. Russia rejected it all.

That’s why this cannot be resolved without pressure.

Pressure on Russia is essential. Stopping the killings is the top priority.

Michael Gloss, 21, was the son of CIA Deputy Director for Digital Innovation Julianne Gallina Gloss, and Iraq war veteran Larry Gloss.

Before arriving in Russia on August 13, 2023, Gloss was travelling around Europe. On his Vkontakte page bio, he wrote: "I ran away from home (and) traveled the world. I hate fascism."

On April 4, 2024, he was killed, likely during a Russian offensive near Bakhmut, however, his burial in the U.S. did not take place until December 2024, Important Stories reports.

🔥 Enemy Su-30SM Fighter Destroyed in Russia — Resistance to Putinism Grows

✊ Another act of defiance against the criminal Putin regime took place on Russian soil — at the Rostov-on-Don Central airfield, a multirole Su-30SM fighter jet with tail number “35” caught fire and burned.

💰 The estimated value of the destroyed aircraft is $50 million.

‼️ The number of forces ready to resist the Kremlin and carry out acts of demilitarization within the aggressor state is growing!

💀 Ukraine’s Defense Intelligence reminds: every war crime committed against the Ukrainian people will be met with just retribution.

[The European Commission] is also working on legal options to allow EU companies to break existing gas supply contracts with Russia without facing penalties, [according to a] senior official. ...

With some member states vowing to block any EU sanctions on Russian gas, the Commission is instead looking at other tools that could hasten the end of Europe's reliance on Russian energy. It plans to set out options for doing this in a "roadmap" due on May 6.

...

The move to forbid new contracts is aimed at cutting European companies' spot purchases of Russian liquefied natural gas (LNG).

While Russian pipeline gas deliveries have plunged since Moscow's full-scale invasion of Ukraine in 2022, the EU increased its imports of Russian LNG last year.

The EU still got 19% of its total gas and LNG supply from Russia in 2024.

...

If the Commission decides to move ahead with any of the legal tools, it would then propose legislation to do this. That could require approval from the European Parliament and a reinforced majority of EU countries, depending on the type of legal tool proposed.

⚡️A plant for the production of strike UAVs was hit on the territory of the Russian Federation, at a distance of more than 1000 km from the state border of Ukraine

On April 23, 2025, units of the Unmanned Systems Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, in cooperation with other components of the Defense Forces, carried out a fire strike on the production of strike UAVs (Geran-2, Shahed type and others).

The production capacity of the enterprise is about 300 different UAVs per day. It is located in the Yelabuga district of the Republic of Tatarstan (Russian Federation) at a distance of 1054 km from the state border of Ukraine.

Hits and explosions in the area of the target have been confirmed.

At the moment, damage to the UAV final assembly shop is known.

The results of the strike are being clarified.

This strike is a fair response by Ukraine to a Russian strategic military facility that is used to ensure the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine and terror against civilians in Ukraine.

Thank you to our soldiers for their accuracy.

Glory to Ukraine!🇺🇦
