Anyone here bought it yet?

I was planning to get it day-1, but want to finish my current games before starting a new one, so may get it next month.

I got it a day early yesterday and I've played around 4 hours now. I quite like it so far. Graphics are gorgeous and the soundtrack is amazing. Gameplay-wise it's pretty much the familiar Metroid Prime gameplay loop of exploring, puzzle solving and getting upgrades. Riding the bike is fun, but the hub world itself is pretty empty and pretty much just a way to get from one area to the another. Due to that structure, the various zones you explore aren't as interconnected as they were in older Prime games. Overall, the 8/10 ratings it gets on average seem about right to me. It's not groundbreaking, but still a very good entry in the Metroid Prime series.

Did you get the amiibo? There is some outrcry of some stuff locked behind amiibo? I haven't checked the details though.

The bike Amiibo unlocks color schemes for the bike, there's a handful unlocked every 50km you ride (which seems to go pretty fast and I barely crossed the map once in one direction). So far I've only unlocked a classic Varia suit color scheme.

Looking at a list, they're not terrible if you're into that, but they're a bit meh and I wouldn't be too upset if I was locked out of it. The default skin looks great.

Yeah, custom skin doesn't seem like a big issue.
