I saw a post yesterday from some SAHM with two young kids, who's influencer channel is apparently filled with tradwife shit about supporting your husband in all his works, etc. And she's crying because her husband wants a divorce, has cut off her credit cards, she doesn't have any money of her own, doesn't have any credit of her own, she hasn't worked in 15 years and has no idea how she's going to support herself.

I'm saying that for women, choosing between Liberal and far Right is basically like choosing between a guy who openly hates you and a guy who is sort of shitty and sarcastic to you and might secretly hate you.
There is no functional difference to women between the Left (or center-right I guess) and the Right in a lot of cases.
When Leftists talk about women "going against their interests," they fail to see that there is no viable option which protects women's interests, or at least, there is no option which actually protects all of their interests and makes their interests a priority.
Both sides claim to protect women's interests when politically convenient to say so, and it does take some investigation to figure out what they mean when they make such a claim.

That depends where she is. Alimony is rare in Texas, for example. She might get a small amount of spousal support for a few years, but she's going to need to start a career soon.

Yeah one question. I said I was a bartender and waiter. I made about 20 maybe 30 grand gross probably a year with tips. It was a while ago, granted, but the cost of everything increased quite disproportionately to wages since then anyway and you seem like you're trying real hard to prove something.

Rent here is like $1600 per month for a two bedroom apartment. How are you going to afford that plus feeding two children on about $3000 per month the after tax? Add on car, heat, electricity, food, internet, and any other expenses.

What's wrong with a spouse who is the primary childcare provider in a relationship being entitled to those things when that relationship ends? The kids and spouse still need to eat and have their expenses fulfilled, that doesn't change because a relationship ends which is why those things exist in the first place.
