Yeah, imagine being so gullible and naive that you actually believe the fearmongering and propaganda in the mainstream media. How child-like your mind has to be to believe the scary bedtime stories about the Russian boogeyman coming to get you, while those who sold you this ridiculous fear use it to take away your pension and social security and give it to weapons manufacturers. Imagine being so stupid... Good thing Europeans are smarter than that.

Literally everyone in the 90s and 00s: "NATO expansion towards Russia will lead to violent escalation, don't do it."
US: Does it anyway. Also dismisses several Russian initiatives to Join NATO or at least setting up a free trade zone from Lisbon to Vladiwostok.
Russia: Outright tells the US trying to get Ukraine into NATO was its red line.
US: Coups the Ukrainian government, puts nazis in government and swarms the country with agents.
Ukraine: Starts supressing its Russian minority, worshipping nazis. Starts a civil war.
8 years, and several peace initiatives by Russia later: Russia intervenes int he civil war citing "responsibility to protect", which the US previously used to bomb Yugoslawia and cut off Kosovo.

Nah. I don't buy the "Russian threat" conspiracy theory. Russia never threatened me. European governments do. Russia can't arrest me or freeze my accounts if i say something they don't like. The EU can. Russia isn't threatening to conscript my kids to send them to a pointless war on behalf of the Brussels elite and Washington interests. My government is.
More like Europe made Russia a problem for themselves for no reason. Russia would have happily been friend with NATO and the EU if only they'd stop being frothing at the mouth bloodthirstily red in the face mad about the fact Russia didn't let them make it a cheap labor vassal like they did to the rest of the former eastern block after the USSR collapsed.
Countries are not "bad". There's this thing called diplomatic ties, and if you keep them no one will start a war against you.
Yes the US empire, its European vassal states and its proxy committing genocide in Palestine are the worst. By that metric that's what was meant, right? Otherwise to draw a false equivalence one would have to be absurdly racist.
