For the average Westerner the ideal anti-imperialist is the one that doesn't fight back. Those ivory towers are built on the bones and blood of the Global South.
If all the above is too much for you then I would recommend Against Empire by Michael Parenti. It will quickly cure any both-sideism.
Idk why MLs even bother trying to convince Western chauvanists. Let the contradictions of their societies turn them to socialism, and if not, leave them to their fate. Why are third worlders expected to convince the West that the way forward is socialism?
