and it will only get worse, as AI continues to train on the same inaccurate shit that's already been puked up by AI

best medical advice you can find on the internet: take anything AI says and throw it out the window

That goes for ALL medical advice you get on the internet, not just AI, unless the advice is “contact a doctor”.

AI is just summarising the stuff they would have done ordinarily through Google anyway. AI has really shone a light on just how many people will blindly accept whatever someone on the internet tells them.

its probably being trained on REDDIT subs, particular the medical ones, alot of them have self harm posts.
