A small business owner who voted for Donald Trump recently posted a video on TikTok, pleading for help as crushing tariffs on China threatened to bankrupt his operation, which imports alloy wheels. His call for support, however, drew little sympathy from some fellow Americans.

“Votes have consequences,” he was told, with many comments from Twitter/X users relishing the notion that another MAGA voter was suffering because of their political choice. The backlash prompted a second video from the man, in which he dropped several F-bombs while criticizing the apparent heartlessness of those celebrating his hardship.

Dear Horrendous Cunt. I'm not American, so I don't judge you because you "didn’t vote the same way" I did. I judge you, because you knowingly voted to place tariffs on your own business. Better yet, you dismissed everyone pointing out that this would only ever hurt you (and hurt pretty much everyone else besides, and some worse than you). Now that it is hurting you, I judge you to be terminally stupid, because everything you have done is stupid and you are stupid.

With all sincerity, go fuck yourself like you fucked your own livelihood.

don't forget the final nail in the coffin of choosing to not learn from their mistake and double down on it

99% of what I see from these people is "yeah I voted for this but I didn't think it would hurt me like this and I am showing no indication that I would do it differently next time"

What I think irks me the most is that he's acting like he's the victim of a system he knowingly helped instate. He's not the victim, he's the perpetrator. To be able to learn from his mistakes, he would have admit to making any. He will never be able to change his behavior unless he realizes this and does an actual mea culpa with a deep dark look in to the abyss he mistakes for his soul. I'm not sure he has it in him. And unfortunately he is not the only one.
