He's not a good guy, and I have issues believing his version of the story.

But if this is true we should be concerned. No one should die because of ineffective medical treatment and this is showing the further decline of our medical system.

Although if someone is to die from inadequate medical care, I won't complain that it was him. I suppose that's the point of the community after all

[–] elbarto777@lemmy.world 23 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

we should be concerned

My brother in Christ, this concern started many, many years ago. What do you think was happening before "Obamacare"??

[–] arrow74@lemmy.zip 2 points 2 weeks ago* (last edited 2 weeks ago) (1 children)

You're right, maybe I should have said outraged or afraid.

I guess it just feels like our system is reaching that toppling point

[–] elbarto777@lemmy.world 0 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

outraged or afraid

My brother in Christ.......

For fucks sake you give me the adjective you want then

I don't like the way things are. They have me worried our system is on the edge of collapse. Honestly the collapse has already started. Do you prefer pissed and terrified?

Does this work better: 🙃🙃🫠🫠🫠😡😡😡😡

[–] elbarto777@lemmy.world 2 points 2 weeks ago* (last edited 2 weeks ago)

It's not about adjectives. It's about timing. Everything you say we "must be X or Y about"? People have been feeling that way since before Obama, because before Obama's administration, the healthcare system (or insurance companies, I dunno) were royally fucking over tons of Americans regardless of political affiliation.

My, precious, sweet brother in christmas. The moment for realising the healthcare system of the states is the most hellish on the planet was twenty years ago. Your contrymen does not want health to be sure they have clearly stated many times that the lobby industry is more important.

[–] arrow74@lemmy.zip 2 points 2 weeks ago* (last edited 2 weeks ago) (1 children)

This has nothing to do with me having feelings on the matter. Me being afraid of what's to come does not exclude anything you've said

[–] KeenFlame@feddit.nu 1 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

'If this is true, we should' is a call to action, not a bad one, it's intention and your feelings are in the right place. However, the time to react to your government not providing healthcare to its citizens the pot has been boiling over for more than two centuries, it's been on fire for longer even. Your peers have been dying all along, your likeminded have moved away, or started trying assassination, rebellion anything desperation calls for, as they are killed off one by one because the meds they need to live are price-hiked beyond human comprehension as that's what the lobbying industry sees and uses for income, that industry is your pride and all the deaths along the way has never been hidden from you

[–] arrow74@lemmy.zip 2 points 2 weeks ago* (last edited 2 weeks ago) (1 children)

I was not trying to call any one to action. I was expressing my dismay over a worsening Healthcare system.

You've read in about a paragraphs worth of extra to my expression of worry. An unnecessary paragraph full of things abundantly clear to anyone living in the system

[–] KeenFlame@feddit.nu 1 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

But it really is not time to start worrying or any other feeling towards healthcare. You haven't had it, for like thirty years. Brother, your country is on fire. There are armed illegitimate thugs on your streets with sharp ammunition, taking citizens that don't fit a certain profile into CAMPS abroad??? Everyone that needed insulin was not the warning bell..? But specifically when they come for you? Please, you will not convince anyone you had no idea. They are openly telegraphing that if you don't fit, you will be killed. And you only hope that isn't you next time, like all other times. The fascism is flowering my man, the sick victims of hypercapitalist greed were the most obvious flaggning that can be made for fascism, you will never convince me that you were all so uneducated that you didn't understand that economic gulfs due to extreme hypercapitalist overreach into perversion was not always you selecting, consciously to go fash and be certain that you at least was not one of the unwanted?

[–] arrow74@lemmy.zip 1 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

And now we're two paragraphs off topic.

The sky is blue too. Did you know that?

Anyway, I don't think you get to dictate what worries me. I'm sorry that news of my country's worsening Healthcare situation worries me.

I'm sorry that you are incapable of expirencing worry more than once on a topic. It must be very difficult for you to decide the one time you get to feel worried about something. If you use it too soon then you did not express your worry at the right time and that is just tragic

[–] KeenFlame@feddit.nu 1 points 2 weeks ago

Again, you provided a call to action and it baffles several people. You might be used to quick swapping who is the receiver with the people around you and it is a bastard to get rid of such behaviour, so I get it. By swapping who is attempting to dictate whose emotions here, you hope for a painless sleight of hand weaseling of your statement without having to claim the fruits of it. Trust me, it will come back to bite ya eventually. It's best to face it. It's actually not time for people to rise up and worry together over the healthcare system. The time for it has passed. It is now time to meet the reality of that failing human right has been a systematic dismantlement and realise it was a symptom of hyper capitalist fascism, that is now rampant and that now demand urgent attention to even be able to address ANY concern about health, you must be free to even address concerns and express worry! I really hope you get why this is aggravating these replies. Brother I do get what you are saying and i'm not disagreeing with any of it, and I appreciate your replies and arguments on the issue. I just hope to forward the reasoning of the replies and reactions you get when you say it. It feels just naive to just now activate a cell of sofa sitting keyboard worriers, that will rise up and worry together about the already completely destroyed health of your population. Your very ability to have any say in even if you get to live a life of servitude due to extreme fast track justice that only has time to look over your ethnicity and tattoos before deciding your life is going to give years in a dangerous lawless prison. It will come for y'all eventually and I truly worry for you and even worry for the rest of the world for what happens when this is properly challenged.

[–] elbarto777@lemmy.world 1 points 2 weeks ago

That was exactly my point and I'm glad you explained it to him.

We're waaaay past the point of realization and adjectives.
