If enough countries tariffed the hell out of US goods and services, this shit would stop. When corporate America starts yelling at the congressmen they bought because they’re no longer making any money — congress would suddenly remember they are the ones who legally control the power to set and repeal tariffs, not the president.

I am not sure if this is possible. It's private individuals which are doing business in most cases.

Huh? Why can’t imports be banned? If my country bans imports (it has), then I cannot get around it by inly dealing with citizens.
