Lemmy.ml, Lemmygrad.ml, and Hexbear.net all have a large number of Marxists. Some people don't like that, and defederate from them, those instances that defederate from the Marxists typically being right-wing instances.

The "annoying thing" I was grasping at trying to remember wasn't even political. It was more like spam, or just outright trolling, it something like that. I remember getting irritated, and I didn't think Marxists usually rub me that way. I'm also not an expert on Marxism beyond the surface.

Tbf I might be mixing it up with a different one. I wasn't really paying attention to instance drama.

Hexbear tends to be confrontational towards liberalism, but this was labled as "trolling" as an excuse for instances like Lemmy.world to defederate.

Frequently, yes, fascists are on instances like sh.itjust.works or feddit.org.
