So a nothingburger. It is absolutely unacceptable by today's standard for me and many more, not all since in Mexico it's still fairly common, but Stalin did it in the early 20th century in an especially underdeveloped region, the fact that he "waited" is already a progressive stance for his epoch. Also there is an abyss of difference between marrying a young girl than having a collection or harem of girls to rape whenever one feels like.
