it's amazing to me that saner countries are still struggling with this basic issue. like, dude, shelter is a known need. and building it is something we know how to do. AAAAND figuring out how many houses the people need for shelter is straight forward to calculate decades in advance.

but, fuck you, landlord gotta get paid.
