I made carrot cake with my 8yo today.

He was just diagnosed with a laundry list of problems including adhd & autism, but he can make a cake & he's doing OK at school so we'll get through it

That's awesome! My son likes to bake as well. It's a good break from screentime

Haven't been able to steer them away from sweet stuff however
