I used Onavo for a short while. But the ick factor of having someone give me a service for free which I know is expensive fired off all kinds of alarm bells and I stopped using it. It’s truly evil that Facebook was just lapping up so much data and in such an anti-competitive way - Onavo was pivotal in FB buying WhatsApp for pennies on the dollar.

Coupled with the fact they have turned over a private conversation regarding an abortion on messenger; they are a massive undermining of civil rights.
