Looks like they aren't: https://www.pcmag.com/news/meta-security-researchers-openclaw-ai-agent-accidentally-deleted-her-emails - not even in a VM, full desktop, and without setting up a remote access solution, she said "I had to run to unplug the Mac because the email nuking program didn't stop"
