Peter Dinklage as Tyrion Lannister. Peter is too handsome. It really bothered me in the early seasons. He was great as Tyrion, in the end, since the whole series ended in ruin.

I did appreciate Cersei's comment about Tyrion's facial injury being over exaggerated after the Battle of Blackwater. It was a nice lampshade when the books described it as a horrible disfigurement to his nose when that would have been an expensive special effect to last the rest of the series.

I highly doubt that the expensive prosthetics were the problem. They were just too scared to put someone on tv that is a main character and not fuckable.

Tbf, you could also say this for many of the actors in that show based on George's descriptions of them from the books.

I feel the same about Gwendoline playing Brienne. She's much too pretty, although she did great in the role.
