So I have been actively reducing my Internet usage mostly due to AI. So I was thinking of creating a curation of non AI content on the internet( as a project) but ngl avoiding the platforms makes me feel better๐Ÿ˜‚.

So here was my question, are people on the internet fed up of AI or the social media itself? Would people actually want a curated feed of non AI content?

The reason why I am asking is, the algorithms. Like, creating a list of non AI art accounts on instagram might be something people want, but Instagram does recommend content that people aren't even following, which I think defeats the purpose of the list. Similarly youtube, though I think for YouTube it makes sense. Btw all this was personal talk, feel free to ignore it and answer the question.

Both, for sure.

I like it here because my home feed actually ends, there are no ads and no suggested content, and no influencers getting paid to make others feel bad.

But I would like obligatory AI markings on all type of content that's been generated on every kind of platform. Would make my youtube watchlist more comfortable to expand (even if it takes only 30 seconds to identify an AI video, it'll still ruin your algorithm for the foreseeable future with only AI bullshit unless you also go and remove it from your watch history).

I'm very happy not being on other social media in general, so I wouldn't go back to the big ones even if they scrubbed every scent of AI off the whole site - but do it for yourself if it's something you want to have!

I mean, I do still think those sites are dumpster fire, but there's convenience of following few of your favorite artists, but to curate more, I need to go through that dumpster fire. That's how I even know a few of them, because I doom scrolled a lot before. And I don't like the idea of doing that again. Hence in another comment I said it's better to not go there, and basically living with either the artists I already follow, or just not go to the site at all.
