LNP and Gun Nation voters care to explain how they are going to pay for 'planning ahead'?
Both are fossil fools who 100% back trashing of this planet - like the US tyrant

Not a voter for either party, but the only coherent answer to this is the national strategic petroleum reserve - we have chronically failed to meet our obligation of 90-days as part of our agreement with the International Energy Agency.

This is not a new failing that can be solely blamed on Labor, we have failed to meet this target for over a decade (basically since 2012) - the entire previous Turnbull/Abbot/Morrison shit-show should shoulder a good chunk of the blame for letting it get so low under their watch.

The funny thing is, that the people who said we'd run out of diesel and petrol, have now gone silent again.

Their dead line has now passed

It's not a crisis either. Maybe it's time to stop flogging this dead horse.

The same people who are constantly wrong.. were wrong again

No, you misunderstand.

You dig up all the various forms of dino juice, then bury it in your own backyard in case you need it later.

You take out massive loans to dig it up and store it, but then when you need it years later it's worth so much more you can make a profit.

Kinda like investment housing, really.

Investing in fossil fools is not a sustainable investment
