Qatar used slave labor to build their stadiums. Football fans looked the other way. They will also ignore the gestapo and the wars US started. My bet is also on full stadiums.

The slaves didn't really affect them directly though. They were all sent back to the camps by the time the event started.

Getting stopped at the border and having some jackboots rifle through your phone and social media is a little more in your face.

I don't think for a minute though that those stadiums won't be filled. There are more than enough people world wide to fill events like this with out issue.

The difference is one potentially directly affects them and one doesn't. You cant just look away if youre being hauled off somewhere. However, I still think the stadium will be full

I agree there's a difference but it's not going to stop Football brained fans from going. If they were thinking rationally they would boycott this disgusting spectacle of corruption decades ago.
