Every bad communist is magically not a communist
Autocracy is the exact opposite of actual communism. When you use a system to gain power and wealth, you're not a communist. Even if that system is communism. Clearly communism has a flaw, as again and again people are able to abuse the system to become a corrupt dictator. But capitalism also has flaws, as there are also capitalist states that are being abused by individuals to become powerful and wealthy at the cost of others like Russia and the US.
Same thing with religion. Jesus says do no harm. Christians say they commit horrible war crimes, crimes against humanity and spread fear and hate in the name of christ. When you do that you're not a Christian but you abuse it for your own gain. This happens in many religions.
I fucking hate religion and I'm not a fan of communism (I'm an anarchist myself) but your comment is bullshit. They're not a bad communist, they just are not a communist at all.

His regime had slaves (or at least essentially a slave class of farmers), enabled/encouraged torture of thousands, held mass executions, suppressed religious practices with murder, had concentration camps, violently suppressed any political opposition and killed tens of thousands without trial.

Well I've read Richard Pipe's books "the Russian Revolution" "Russia Under the Bolshevik Regime" and " The Unknown Lenin" as well as Lenin's biography by Robert Service. What I claimed is all discussed in those books. I can recommend more too if you like. I still have hard covers of "The Russian Revolution" and "The Unknown Lenin" do you need me to include quotes? I'd be willing to bet I'm significantly more educated and well read on this particular subject.
Someone discussing a thing does fuck all to prove that thing exists and you know it, if you had anything resembling evidence you'd be posting it here right now. You've got nothing, admit it.
I have no idea what you're looking for if you're not considering scholarly literature detailing the things I spoke about as evidence. "The Unknown Lenin" is a bunch of documents written by Lenin or members of his regime. Many of those include exactly what I'm talking about and were written by the guy I'm talking about. Its not a book about him it's a book of the evidence you're saying I'm not providing.

I strongly recommend reading the 4 I listed. Especially the one that's just a collection of Lenin's writings. Here's a quote from his writings “Carry out merciless mass terror against the kulaks, priests and White Guards; unreliable elements to be locked up in a concentration camp...” Strange I see a couple things I talked about... or another about the clergy “The greater the number... we succeed in executing... the better.” or how about “The revolutionary court must not abolish terror… but substantiate and legalize it in principle.”
