Ideally not one more human dies from war and we can start the process of healing. I think that you can see historically that fighting fire with fire tends to burn everything and everyone. It becomes fuel for group X to revenge on group Y which itself becomes fuel for group Y to revenge on group X and ultimately no one and most definitely not the future generation will know peace.
Idealism after the missiles on Tel Aviv
I am sure somehow more war and death will bring peace unlike the rest of human history where more war and death caused more war and death. I am positive this time is different.
We cant allow these crimes against humanity to go unanswered.
It's not about being different from history that matters, it's being different from the present, Israel is a genocidal supremacist illegal state, it blockaded Gaza completely after it got threatened to stop killing and invading in other countries
Israelis are dancing in gyms to music the lyrics of "We will burn down your towns", they're threatening to rape people in their pro-occupation parades, the state is humiliating and torturing their victims and their victims's saviors
Peace and love after missiles to Tel Aviv, if Israelis are not fleeing to Gaza and Lebanon there's not going to be love or peace, because they don't want love or peace
Remember that they have nukes? Complacency, support, diplomacy and pressure only make them continue the genocide?
Missiles to Tel Aviv before more millions get displaced or die
I'm not arguing really anything you are saying beyond one thing. When I said I hope not one more person dies from war and everyone on earth can know peace I meant everyone. That infers that any aggressor stops their aggression and that we start working together to know peace. I feel that if the fighting actually stopped (and yes I am aware there have been false ceasefires and bad faith peace talks) and I mean actually stopped right now this moment that trading that for killing more people would be unfortunate. It would be of a greater service to those who come after us to forge peace so that they may know peace.
It's a philosophical question but if you personally had the choice over actual lasting peace and wellbeing vs killing more people which will likely not bring actual lasting peace and wellbeing (may even condemn many more generations on both sides to suffering) what would you choose for yourself and future generations?
I'd always choose lasting peace and wellbeing happily, i love everyone and i want everyone to live a happy life
Neighbors of Israel can't, so my case on the missiles does not change, i'm not asking for equal destruction using fragmentation shells, bio weapons or torture, i'm asking for change in population or government's stance on human life
That's not going to happen as educating Israelis is terrorist activity and grounds for imprisonment, the government is never going to change their stance so long as supportive capitalists have capital in capitalism system, capitalism is never going to change with US foreign interference policy
peace and wellbeing is based off of equality, maybe seeing the destruction happening locally will put the images of leveled cities they cheered for in a different light giving birth to that equality
Missiles to Tel Aviv
(I'm sorry but my take on this is well rooted in reality so i have to keep referencing it to make my point and i'm sorry if that's not what you wanted, i don't really see the point in sheltering israel based on theory and i just refuse even entertaining that thought so i don't offend the dead)
It's a hypothetical. In reality there's only so many scenarios here. The fighting stops and they work out a peace agreement. One side fully wipes out the other. The fighting continues as is until the end of time. I personally wish for the first scenario, but it seems you think only the second or third scenario are possible as of now. I guess there's also the scenario where both sides get wiped out.
You wish for the 1st scenario, and i think only 2nd and 3rd are possible
I actually think the first is also possible, it's why i'm asking for missiles on Tel Aviv to achieve it, it's the only way to it using thinking instead of wishing
Ok now your turn to be the practical one I wish for 1st scenario, which do you think are possible?
Time will reveal all things. As of now there is no way to know between us which is correct and which is not. I suspect more violence won't aid in bringing lasting peace and that's more violence from both sides, not just one or the other.
The way things are looking currently scenario two seems to be becoming more likely short of external help. If enough assistance is given to stem Israeli aggression the fight will likely continue later which would bring us to scenario three and possibly at that time back to scenario two.
Now for the mystery scenario four, aka both get wiped out. It is very possible if we reach ASI and it goes rogue or there's a biosphere collapse due to humanities continued destruction of the global environment. I don't assume both would get wiped out anytime soon by a third party so I'm mostly assuming it would happen through some global event. Something apocalyptic. In that case all this suffering would have been for nothing quite unfortunately. Both parties lose.
