I'm not 100% sure the scribble that looks kinda like a signature is related. I think someone may have just doodled on the image, doesn't seem to be present on the original painting. Unless you're talking about the part you can barely see at the bottom right.

It appears to say "RJ II". OP, are you adding this to paintings you post images of, or is it coming from your source? This was on another painting you posted an image of (different artist) a while back, I remember trying to use that to figure out the painter.
