when you ride your bike and encounter a obstacle like this, be safe!

  1. slow down
  2. watch for traffic
  3. pass the obstacle on either side
  4. spit on a window in passing
  5. get back into the bike line and continue.

4 is best replaced by taking out the u lock from your belt and hitting the side mirror or window with it as you pass
