I need to de-google but it seems exhausting. I've had Gmail since like 2006 and everything in Drive and Photos.

Yeah I did it slowly over a period of time. I started with learning self hosting and moving over files with next cloud. Then got Immich for my photos. Changing over email was a huge pain in the ass tho even tho their wasn't much I actually used so killed hundreds of linked accounts and set up forwarding rules for anyone in my contacts. As been running GrapheneOS for a while so had already killed most apps that needed play services and sandboxed the rest. Would recommend comaps for navigation its good but lacks address numbers and a lot of places (at least here in Australia).

It's a pain but the feeling of true digital sovereignty is amazing.
