I mean yeah, obviously. But Musk is very obviously excellent at marketing, and there's an argument to be made that it was thanks to his marketing that Tesla became as popular as it did, and that that helped pull up the EV market more broadly.
Marketing from marketers that he hired. He did fuck all.
He did scam money out of govts and banks to help pay those hires though. It turns out that scamming is the most valued skill in the world.
Now that is a valid point. Scamming and raping kids is what rewards people in this world apparently
