I'll be honest, I haven't touched a GTA since Vice City on the PC.
You should play gta4 it's a masterpiece
Liberty city stories on the psp on my end. I got the last one or PC installed it played it for two days and then I threw it out after playing multi-player and the only thing people wanted to do was heist.
Modded private servers are actually really good for the last GTA but yeah the official GTAO experience is ass. And private servers will probably suck for 6 since they bought out CFX.
