Eventually Türkiye will develop its own engine and fighterjet and USA will lose one customer.

Why would they spend enormous amount of money that they don't have developing their own jets, when they could just invest heavily into drone industry that they already have and it's quite advanced, cheaper and gives better results...

Like, Iran won the war just by using dirt-cheap drones and missiles of questionable quality, against much more advanced US-Israeli airforce and navy.. Those are still relevant, but in modern warfare drones seem to be kings of the battlefield

Believe it is much more cheaper than keeps buy fighter jets from other countries in the long term. Being independent is too important . As you see ,USA don’t want to give when you don’t obey or don’t compromise .
