I should've put more emphasis on the word "unforgivable". I assumed people would read my random Lemmy post more closely.
There are a variety of reasons people commit murder, but there's only one reason they rape someone and that is for their own pleasure at the expense of others. For that reason, the crime of rape is far harder to forgive.
