Short answer: yes
He'll be remembered in the same category as Hitler, Stalin and Zedong. Unfortunately, I think this is his plan... especially considering his desire to be famous/powerful and his lack of moral compass.
It’s nuts how these “strong” men idolize the biggest fucking losers. They think it will work out for them.

I mean, Trump is a bad dude and a terrible president, but c'mon man, employ some perspective.
There's an argument about the pandemic team he disbanded could have recognized COVID early enough so it'd barely be a blip or known in our memories. So perhaps still, even if he didn't try. He just wanted more money for his personal things, plus recind anything Obama did. Like the Iran agreement. Not to mention all the soft power US used to have and acting like the US can still do everything, and not cause a worldwide fuel issue. Slightly different metrics but I think he ranks up there myself.
Okay maybe he didn't set out to get people killed but even worse he doesn't care he did, that's gotta be close in being awful. Let alone with any decision he makes is to benefit himself, never the people. I'm not sure how often a powerful empire has had a dude in charge to break everything but I don't know much history. Least hell be known as one of the crazy leaders, but we know he just wants all the money and whatever it takes.
I believe that perspective works still.
Exactly, he is currently funding a war that has killed tens of thousands of people in Palestine (using our tax money btw).

This in addition to imprisoning tens of thousands of people stateside, and exploiting young girls and women in a traffic ring run by him and his rich buddies.
At this point, claiming this is absurd and makes you look foolish.
You're comparing him to people with direct death tolls in the 10s to hundreds of millions.
He may not be lining up people against walls. But his gutting of government departments on health, food safety, environmental standards and social safety nets, will put him right up there with those numbers.
It's just going to take awhile for the numbers to show up.
Not to mention the billions of $ in military aid and weapons that are heavily utilized against Palestine, the tens of thousands of people being held by ICE with no due process, and the countless women who have come forth with trafficking and assault claims by orange man and his buddies.
