Agrovolatics are badass. Its real solar punk shit. You grow crops under the panels that need shade and those crops produce moisture that aids in cooling the panels down preventing them from overheating and thus making them more efficient. Foxes in regions overrun with coyote's thrive on the fenced in land that solar panels exist in because the coyotes cant get through the fence. Reducing premature death and allowing foxes to repopulate. Solar panels over waterways can reduce the rate of water evaporation aiding in the preservation of those wild habitats.
Imagine a large plot of land with solar panels, littered with pollinators throughout, and surrounded by apiaries. Imagine if every building in NYC had a solar garden on the roof. Imagine using solar farms as a means of protecting butterfly migration pathways by maintaining the natural foliage that attracts them, while also gating off access to the space from people who might otherwise destroy the land.
It's hella cool!
