No, she implies that Iran shouldn't be doing it: "What right does iran have...".
She gets an answer that counters this sentiment, by adding context. The context is, that this didn't come from nowhere, but rather is a response to the US attack on Iran.
The thing about " defending the gulf" is a little thin, but he can't say the reason, that you've stated, on TV.
Combine that with your idea of a "child killing regime of iran" and the relevance becomes obvious.
Did your survey also find, that majority of iranians want their country to be bombed by the US?

America fucks literally everything it touches. Do you think from them bombing the shit out of everything is going to make meaningful cultural change in Iran?
What did they think Trump was going to do if Iranian refugees asked for help? He wasn't going to send a fruit basket with a passive aggressive note.
