If anyone is in town there's also Social Spending, Not War Spending โ Protest outside ALP National Conference.
Adelaide is in the grips of a campaign to stop the state government chopping down trees in the Adelaide Parklands to upgrade an existing shared golf course/parkland for LIV Golf (it's OK though because they promise not to make the land private...), and also in the eastern parklands for Moto GP. It's inspired a lot of locals to get active in campaigns and politics for the first time.
