I woke up a bit early so I decided to just get up and head to the ferry terminal. I know that people get here far too early but it's 3:45 and there's 20 people here. The ferry is at 4:30 ! What is wrong with people. A bloke told me a while ago that some folk get here at 3:30, I thought he was exaggerating. Seems he wasn't. Bunch of weirdos. A few of them are chatting away like it's a Sunday afternoon. STFU FFS !!!! Lol, grumpy old man here.
Anyway I'm delivering three stainless steel pipe fittings out to the Giraween area today. About four hours each way. Thankfully I've been able to bring the work ute home so I can just fly through. No messing about heading to the workshop and changing over vehicles. Same on the way home too.
The company has taken on about 8 new blokes recently so we're damn busy which is good. But oh god I've been asked to work Saturday, AND Sunday. Nooooooooooo.
The welders and a few other boys have been doing Saturdays and ten hours days due ages now, I can't hack overtime anymore.

I'll bet your mate at work is tired... The "supporters"(?) of old mate who died the other day have spent the past couple of nights honouring his hooning-related death with a bit of extra hooning. Burnouts on that roundabout from ~10pm to ~2am or so last night, similar the night before.
Which is not really different to any other night in Logan I guess, just concentrated a bit more.
Some friend of his put up a super cheesy "everyone giving the camera the finger", including a photoshopped angel version of old-mate in the back with wings and all. Also giving the finger.
The mob doing skids were also yelling at cars who dared try to drive down the road they were doing their tribute act on, including bashing windows and throwing things. I mean its only the main thoroughfare for like 50,000 homes. How dare they want to enter and leave their houses ffs.
Jesus what a bunch of cunts. I mentioned it to my manager ( top bloke, has a few decent cars ) asked him if he was aware of the Cartel. He said yeah of course ( he's not a member, well I don't think....) he said that death happened near his place. I think he has acreage but I've forgotten the actual suburb.
I told him that the young bloke was being quite cagey about it all.
