Well, I love arguing in online forums, but I find obsequious, flattering LLM chats to be extremely frustrating. Every once in a while I'll try to use an LLM as a sounding board for a thought process I'm exploring, and I have to give up because instead of actually pushing back on anything it just tells me how smart I am for my genius argument. Like yes obviously I know that but it isn't helpful. Even when I try to refine it to be actually adversarial, it doesn't last long.
So the boring answer is that it's definitely not a perfect overlap.
