Yeah, I keep hearing about people in their 50s dying and I’m like, wtf?!
A lot of health issues can show up in your 50s even if you look after yourself (and most people don't). Rik Mayall died from a 'perfectly normal' spontaneous cardiac event a few hours after returning from his usual run. He had no prior symptoms. He was 56.
