I feel like I’m going crazy here. Do you know ANY console players without loads of discs? I can imagine a hypothetical overly wealthy gamer who only buys digital, but in reality most people buy their games on disc. Even ignoring the massive friction caused by having to clear space on your ssd every time you want to play a different game, physical games are just cheaper 99% of the time.
Either I’m insane or every single one of you are out of touch
I've only bought discs for my consoles. But, last Sony console I had was PS4. Reason was because I switched to PC, but I only felt comfortable with digital on PC due to open hardware and OS. As opposed to locked hardware of consoles. I can't see myself buying digital for consoles.
