You sound pretty immature... 'I'm too set in my ways.' This is a bullshit excuse and you're using it to lazily maintain your mental health, which-reading this isn't very healthy.
Any relationship you get into now is doomed because you're lacking empathy...and empathy is something your partner helps teach you, if given the chance.
If there's anything my partner taught me its empathy, kindness and letting others enjoy what they like is absolutely fine- I'm free to dislike some things that other enjoy but choose not to participate.
There is absolutely someone out there for everyone.
This is an armchair psychology hot take, I know, and you'll probably dismiss this, but hey....you asked.
