In the process of enforcing good boundaries at work, you shouldn’t be a jerk. Firm, no-nonsense, but polite. And the flip side is to use your capacity wisely.

Not quite. Everything he did was absolutely wrong but you can only say that when you are a sane person (relatively I hope lol) with a level head. We barely know anything but assuming the worst, I am imagining one of those grindset young adult who worked all day with no entertainment, sacrificed his life for his work, got absolutely nothing in return, self worth completely shattered, possibly dealing with suicidal thoughts. I have seen people like that (our university especially had a significant suicide problem) and I can somewhat relate to it. You can't expect someone like that to make the right decision, best avoid it altogether. Men's mental health is often ignored, I am only trying to highlight that. Fuck all those shitty exploitive bosses and the insane influencers.
