Yes they do. It was a long time ago they had any soul and wanted to actually make users feel good. A sense of humor requires a positive human spirit, something their corporation doesn't have.

No, it's what it gives.
I'm guessing its the "I'm alone with x", but yeah it sort of does, mine wasn't as funny.
They do it for any sort of roleplay, there was one going around about "I'm a fish and I see a hook in front of me".
