Which are some good food crops/plants that one can grow without much effort or space? (lemmy.ml)

Likely will vary with location and season.
Wanted to know what folk on Lemmy grow or see.

In the case that there maybe some who know specific info that maybe good for my location: I am from India, Kerala.

I believe tomatoes and potatoes are easy to grow. Onions too.

I'm always growing potatoes. Forget about the potatoes under the cupboard and they grow roots. Plant em and you get a barrel of potatoes like 6 months later. Rinse and repeat.
