What... I am not sure if it's serious but it is a game controller.
I moved from Lutris to Heroic, so would you explain why you moved from Heroic to Faugus?
It's much more lightweight than Heroic, and the UI is much more condensed and clear - game configuration takes place on 2 tabs, with the first one for the basics like the name, paths for executables and prefixes, and selection of Proton version (with the ability to manage Proton versions linked directly from this screen); the second path is for setting Protonfix-IDs, Launch Options and access to WineCfg/WineTricks - you can even create Presets for environment variables to quickly apply. Running another executable in a prefix is available on rightclick of the game entry. The retrieval of gameart is something you rarely have to interact with. EGS / GOG integration in not direct, but both clients work fine since August in Faugus (EGS had heavy issues that were seemingly resolved by newer Proton versions, so they reimplemented support alongside GOG Galaxy support). It's pretty client-agnostic, because the only "steam integration" it has that it allows you to add a game shortcut to steam.

For someone who has a crap ton of GOG games, is this more worth using than Heroic for installing them? Does it allow me to use my own made prefix folder like Heroic?

Yup, prefixes are handled the same way - by default Faugus creates its prefix directories in ~/Games/Faugus/ with the game name as standard, buy you can define them any way you see fit.

Nope - But the clients do work under it. Faugus is pretty client-agnostic; the only store specific thing in the whole launcher is the ability to add steam library shortcuts. Faugus is ideal for you if the DMCA is a target to be violated instead of a law.
