To me it was worth the 10-12$ a month for the ease of access and not needing to find alternative frontends for youtube, especially with smart tv's. It's just the company started getting too greedy for their own good and I felt it wasn't worth the value it was providing, which was ultimately why I cancelled. When it hit 13 a month I looked into student discounts and found it it, but then when it moved to almost 12 again with student discount I thought "man this isn't going to get cheaper" and just cancelled like I mentioned.
