this is where I think the mistake was made. I really think they should have started with the idea of a user and a user account as a place for various services to store configs and then did something like saml. So the most basic server to run would be a user server and you could even have simplified user applications that is for a user to keep his own user account. I think nostr would be a good way to start from this perspective but im not sure if its doing it really the way I am thinking.
The problem with nostr is that it quickly turned into a nazi bar at its worst so most people (including me) simply dismiss it whenever they hear about it.
can you not block in nostr??? I have not actually engaged because I don't like the non forum type formats.
