NATO had been pushing for war with Russia for a while. It finally got it.

So yeah, either of the recent blue governments can be said to have started the war.

Do you think whatever your favorite country is would tolerate a fascist coup in a neighboring state and the massive buildup of a hostile army on that border?

"Ignoring Russia" is when you (the most prolific invader in the world) declare your intent to antagonise Russia, do a coup against a neighbouring neutral state, and attempt to get your military to its border.

History started on the day Russia invaded. Anything leading up to that can safely be ignored. We have always been at war with oceania
