That happened in a nearby town several years ago. Except it was a nurse who struck a college student who was visiting with his baseball team. She drove a mile down the road and got out at a car dealership to check for damage. Then she got back in her car and drove home. ~~She walked away with no charges~~.

Edit: She was charged but all of the charges were thrown out.
