LAPD framed a guilty man. His lawyer gets all the credit - leading to pop-culture references for decades, including Kanye West suggesting your girl 'got more brothers off than Cochrane.' But really the police fumbled it in every way possible. They tampered with evidence that was plenty damning to begin with.
