I believe that there’s a huge magnet of sorts in the core of earth that attracts a specific brand, BIC, to it.

The only two items that always go missing. Pens. Lighters.

The fluoride in the water is secretly pushed by the sugar industry. Without it, their products would be rotting teeth faster than ever and people would buy less sweets as a result.
